ABOUT

|
I
fell
in
love
with
Pomeranians
when
I
lived
in
France
in
the
80's
and
saw
one
walking
in
the
street.
I
had
long
been
thinking
of
having
a
toy
dog,
and
now
I
knew
what
my
breed
would
be.
That
was
also
why
I
bought
my
first
Pom,
Casanova,
from
France.
He
was
principally
bought
as
a
pet
but
I
got
interested
in
dog
shows,
started
showing
him
and
finished
him
to
his
Finnish
champion
title.
Casanova
was
the
kindest
little
black
Pom
one
could
imagine,
and
he
lived
a
long
life
with
us
until
we
lost
him
at
the
age
of
17
years
in
summer
2004.
He
will
always
hold
a
special
place
in
my
heart. |
|
After
I
had
bought
Casanova
I
soon
realised
that
I
got
to
have
more
of
these
charming
creatures
-
especially
since
I
felt
that
they
would
be
of
more
fun
to
me
and
to
each
other
if
there
were
several
of
them.
So
the
number
of
our
Poms
gradually
increased.
For
about
17
years
we
only
kept
males.
During
this
time
I
actively
showed
my
dogs
both
in
Finland
and
in
other
countries
and
achieved
several
international
champion
and
multi-champion
titles
on
them.
I
have
also
been
an
active
member
of
our
breed
club
for
many
years
and
tried
to
acquire
as
much
information
on
the
breed
as
possible
from
literature,
internet
and
my
many
breeder
friends
in
Finland
and
abroad.
I
finally
felt
it
was
really
time
for
me
to
also
start
breeding
Poms
in
a
small
scale.
I
acquired
my
kennel
affix
Pipperoo
and
set
myself
new
goals
for
the
future. |
We
now
breed
Poms
in
a
home
environment
but
only
in
a
small
scale
because
we
want
to
be
able
to
properly
concentrate
on
every
litter
born.
We
also
wish
to
observe
the
individual
differences
between
the
puppies
so
that
it
would
be
easier
for
us
to
choose
the
right
homes
for
them.
I
hope
to
breed
healthy,
sound,
happy
Poms
with
good
temperaments
who
would
also
be
of
the
right
breed
type
with
sweet
heads
and
expressions.
I
have
imported
several
Poms
mainly
from
north
American
and
British
lines
and
I
hope
that
these
dogs
would
help
me
to
produce
the
lovely
type
that
I
like.
I
am
willing
to
spend
time,
trouble
and
money
within
reasonable
limits
to
find
the
right
fiancé
to
each
of
my
girls. |
We
live
in
an
individual
house
in
Kirkkonummi
which
is
situated
at
about
30
km
from
Helsinki,
the
capital
of
Finland.
All
our
Poms
are
much
beloved
family
members
who
live
with
us
at
the
house
with
unlimited
access
everywhere,
and
they
have
a
fenced
garden
at
their
disposal
where
they
can
run
free
and
enjoy
their
lives.
I
cannot
stop
admiring
how
vivacious,
intelligent
and
loving
these
little
fluffy
balls
can
be,
and
it
is
their
attractive
physical
appearane
combined
with
their
charming
personalities
that
make
them
such
a
joy
to
live
with. |
I find
it
very
important
that
our
puppies
go
to
loving,
responsible
homes
where
they
can
live
as
family
members
and
feel
that
they
are
something
special.
